Korea & Teaching English
I'm having a really good time in South Korea. My school is amazing and my students- all 800 of them - are a pleasure to teach. I teach 20 classes of students and 2 teacher classes for a total of 22 classes per week. My co-teachers are all extremely helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better placement. I have a brand new apartment and I live close enough to my school to walk to work and back every day. The bus system in Jinju is very efficient and inexpensive. It costs approximately 1,000 won to go anywhere in the city and it is very inexpensive to travel to other cities. For instance, it cost 7,900 won to travel to Busan on the weekend. Korean people are so helpful and many Korean people know how to speak English. Most Koreans know how to write English so anywhere you go you can feel safe that someone will be able to help you.....
