my experience
I came to Korea three months ago with Korean Horizons, and I can truthfully say at this point that it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I contacted a few sites, and was really hesitant, because I am putting my trust in someone I don't even know. I have to admit, right up until I got my plane ticket, and even once I got here, I was really hesitant about trusting anyone. Yet every step of the way Alistair was friendly as humanly possible, and has continued to this day to make sure that I am doing fine. Some friends of mine said that their recruiters didn't pick them up from the airport; they haven't ever contacted them, and never tried to help them assimilate into Korea. I have to admit that I have had rough days here every now and then, but it’s something that you need to expect coming into this place. I am in a small town, and it has made me miss my city back home, and my friends. But there are so many people here going through the same thing as me, and we have special bond, even though we come from all walks of life. I wouldn't trade the friends I have made here for any in the world. And I can contribute my happiness to Alistair and Korean Horizons. If it weren't for the smooth transition I was given, I don't know if I would have such an easy time. If you are thinking of going with another site, don't. I can say that from what I have heard from other people, I definitely got the best deal by going through this site. If you want to find out more, or to ask any questions, just ask Alistair- he will guide you on the right path.
Warmest Regards,
Adam Olson
